Sashiko denim uses a traditional Japanese technique with running stitches that strengthen fabric and create detailed patterns. This method started as a way to make garments tougher and repair them, especially in rugged workwear denim. Today, Sashiko stands out for its unique look.

Our 12oz Sashiko denim combines style and strength. Despite its 12oz label, the thick weaving gives it the feel of a 15oz fabric. Made from 100% top-quality cotton looms, the 12oz Army Sashiko delivers both durability and style.

This shirt immediately went in to my favorite rotation, it is really wonderful. My son has been following Judo classes for years, so I kinda knew the material in white LOL, but it illustrates well how rugged it is.
