Sashiko denim uses a traditional Japanese technique with running stitches that strengthen fabric and create detailed patterns. This method started as a way to make garments tougher and repair them, especially in rugged workwear denim. Today, Sashiko stands out for its unique look.
Our 12oz Sashiko denim combines style and strength. Despite its 12oz label, the thick weaving gives it the feel of a 15oz fabric. Made from 100% top-quality cotton looms, the 12oz Army Sashiko delivers both durability and style.
This versatile denim shines in both the 002 tapered classic style and the 003 classic chino style.
Fredde wears the 002 tapered in size 27/28 and stands 169 cm tall.
We recommend tonal stitching for all our Sashiko fabrics.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
We recommend washing this garment in 30°C / 86°F, with a low or no spin cycle. Hang dry. Do not tumble dry! For denim, an initial soak in a tub or large sink is fine. For waxed canvas, spot clean with cold water and a soft brush or cloth; never machine wash, dry clean, or use heat.
Shrinkage & Stretch
This garment is not pre-washed, so expect up to 1″ shrinkage in the waist and inseam. With wear, the waist and high-stress areas will stretch back about 1″
