product description
The 33oz Indigo Selvedge Denim “TBOL” Jeans, also known as The Breaker of Legs. Crafted from 100% Australian long staple cotton, these jeans boast durability and exceptional fades. Woven using the revered rope dyeing technique—considered the pinnacle of yarn dyeing—the result is a rigid, robust denim with a standout slub texture.
Weighing 33.14 oz (939g), SOSO’s “TBOL” jeans are woven on vintage GA1515 shuttle looms, a true nod to traditional craftsmanship. These looms require manual adjustments to handle the weight, so each pair takes up to a week to complete.
DISCLAIMER: Before you purchase, ensure you fully understand the enormity of this product. Never attempt to put these jeans on using the belt loops! Repairs demand specialized skills, and only a few professionals can handle such tasks.
product care
Turn inside-out before washing. For denim and flannel, begin with a cold soak, then machine wash on a short cycle at 30°C (max 40°C / 100°F) with low or no spin. For waxed canvas, spot clean with cold water and a soft brush or cloth, never machine wash, dry clean, or use heat.
Hang or lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry! Re-wax canvas as needed to maintain water resistance.
Shrinkage & Stretch
This garment is not industrially pre-washed, so some shrinkage is expected. Washed per the guidelines, the waist and inseam may shrink by 1″, with other areas adjusting proportionally.
Post-wash or soak, the waist will stretch back approximately 1″ with wear. High-stress areas also tend to return to pre-wash dimensions over time.
