INDIGO STORIES
Levi’s, the iconic American denim brand, has a rich history dating back to 1853. Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis patented the process of using copper rivets to reinforce the stress points on denim pants, creating the first pair of blue jeans. Since then, Levi’s has become a household name, synonymous with denim and Americana.
Indigo is a rich, deep blue dye that has been used for centuries to color fabrics, particularly denim. The color is created by extracting a blue pigment from the leaves of certain plants, such as the indigo plant, and then using that pigment to dye the fabric.
